Live Markdown

Paperloom notes are plain Markdown files. The editor styles your text as you type — bold looks bold, headings grow, tasks get checkboxes — while the file underneath stays clean and portable. There is no split preview and no mode switch.

• Rendered charts from a chart fence and diagrams from a mermaid fence.
• Inline images you can paste and resize; files attached as resources.

Type / for anything

The slash menu inserts headings, lists, quotes, code, charts and diagrams — and creates a new issue linked to the line you are writing.

Type @ to link

@ finds another note and links it; backlinks are kept for you and links survive renames. @ also puts a due date on a checkbox: @today, @tomorrow, @nexttuesday.
